Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Reppl is for giving your Card to the people you actually meet. This policy says what that involves: what Reppl keeps, who can see it, and what Reppl will never do with it.
The short version
- Your Card goes to the people you give it to: someone who scans your code, or anyone you send its link to.
- Your phone number reaches only people you have a relationship with, and your contact email only if you turn it on. Your account email is for you alone.
- How you met someone, and anything you note about them, is visible only to you.
- Only the two people in a conversation can read its messages. If one of them reports a problem, Trust and Safety sees what that report includes.
- Reppl doesn’t sell your contacts or your network, runs no ads and never sells introductions.
- Card pages are hidden from search engines.
Who we are
Reppl is run by SIDUS INC, doing business as Reppl, 19150 Ne Woodinville Duval Rd Suite A1 #212, Woodinville, WA 98077, United States. You can reach us at support@reppl.one.
What Reppl keeps
When you sign in
You sign in with an account you already have: LinkedIn, Google or X on the web, and also Apple in the App. What Reppl receives depends on the account:
- LinkedIn, Google and X give your name and, if the account has one, your photo. Google always gives your email address; LinkedIn and X give it only if the account has one they share, and when they don’t, Reppl asks you for an email address and confirms it before using it. On the web your Card starts with that name and photo, and you can correct the name.
- Apple gives only your email address, or a relay address if you chose to hide yours. It gives no name and no photo.
- In the App, setup asks for your name, whichever account you signed in with.
Your email is how your account is recognized and where Reppl sends its notices. Nobody else sees it.
Your Card
What you put on it: your name, photo, role, company, a line in your own words, your links and the design you choose. You may also add a phone number, and a contact email that stays off until you turn it on.
Your relationships
The people you exchange Cards with, the exchange requests and introductions you send and receive, and, for each person, how you met: the evening, any name you give it, and a private note if you write one. To name the evening, Reppl uses your city only if you have already let the App use your location. It never asks for your location for this.
What you share inside Reppl
Moments you post, replies and likes, messages and the photos you send, and reports you make to Trust and Safety, with the reason, details and screenshots you choose.
If you join the designer waitlist
The email address you leave, and what to call you, your X username and your website if you add them. They are used only to write to you about the Reppl marketplace: one note when you join, and the next when it opens. When you join, what you left is also emailed to Reppl's own inbox. The list belongs to no account and no Card, nobody but Reppl can read it, and you can leave it by writing to support@reppl.one.
Who can see what
- Anyone with your Card’s link or code
- Your Card, without your email or phone number. You can turn the link off: it then shows nothing to anyone new, and people who already have your Card keep it.
- People you have a relationship with
- Your Card, plus your phone number if you added one and your contact email if you turned it on. A relationship exists only when you both chose it: an exchange you both made, or an introduction you both accepted.
- The two people in a conversation
- Its messages and photos. Unsending removes a message for both of you; deleting it for yourself removes it from your side only.
- People you have a relationship with, in Moments
- Your Moments. A like shows who liked it, never how many.
- Only you
- Your account email, how you met each person, your notes and your settings.
- Trust and Safety, when there is a report
- What the report includes: the reason, details and screenshots the person reporting chose, and the account facts that go with it. Every use of this access is recorded.
- Search engines
- None of it. Card pages ask not to be indexed.
What Reppl will never do
- Sell or rent your contacts, your network or anyone’s relationships.
- Show ads, or sell reach, introductions or placement.
- Import your address book or another network’s connections to make relationships for you.
- Show anyone how many people you know.
- Measure you in ways that could reveal who you know or talk to. Reppl counts only totals that cannot be traced back to anyone’s relationships.
Trust and Safety
When someone reports a problem, a small Trust and Safety function sees what the report contains and the account facts that go with it: who reported whom, when, and whether they have a relationship. That access is separate from the App, used only for safety and legal obligations, and every use of it is recorded. The person reported never sees the report.
Notifications and email
The App sends a push notification when an exchange completes, when someone asks to exchange, about introductions, and when someone sends you a message, unless you have muted that conversation. Likes and replies never send a push notification: they appear in your activity in the App. Reppl emails your account address with notices, and if someone introduces you before you have the App, it sends one email about that introduction.
Where your data is processed
Reppl is run from the United States. Your account, your Card and everything you put into Reppl are stored in its database and file storage, which are in the United States. A few companies run parts of the service for Reppl, each handling only what its part needs, and some of them work through computers in other countries:
- Supabase keeps the database, sign-ins and files, in the United States.
- Vercel serves this website through a network that spans many countries, so a page you open may pass through the one nearest you.
- Cloudflare runs the domain’s name service.
- Resend sends Reppl’s emails, such as notices and sign-in links.
- Google Workspace holds Reppl’s own inbox, where mail to Reppl and designer waitlist notes arrive.
- LinkedIn, Google, X or Apple signs you in, whichever you choose.
- Apple and Google deliver the App’s notifications to your phone.
On your device
This website uses no cookies and no analytics. When you open a Card on the web, your browser keeps it so the link picks up where you left off. Opening a Card creates no account and no identity for you on Reppl’s servers. It adds one to that Card’s count for the day, at most once per browser: its owner sees only a number, “N people took your Card today”. Your browser keeps track of that once-a-day rule itself; the server receives the increment alone and stores no browser identifier, cookie ID or fingerprint. Signing in on the web keeps you signed in using your browser’s storage. The App also keeps your own Card, notes and settings on your phone.
The people and Cards this website shows as examples, such as Leo Grant’s, are made up.
Your choices
- Change your Card at any time, or turn its link off.
- Choose whether the people you know see your contact email.
- Remove someone, which ends the relationship quietly, or block them, which pauses it. Each of you keeps your own history.
- Unsend a message within three hours, or delete it for yourself.
- Delete your account. Your Card, its photo and links, your account email, your sign-ins and your private notes are deleted, your Card stops opening anywhere, and you leave everyone’s People. What you shared with others is not rewritten for them: messages you sent stay in their conversations, and introductions you were part of stay as they happened, both shown as from a Deleted account. Your Moments are deleted, your replies on other people’s Moments stay as Deleted account, and your likes are removed. Until deleting an account is in the App, write to support@reppl.one and Reppl will do it for you, as Delete your account explains.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by writing to support@reppl.one. Reppl answers within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as to object to how your data is used or to complain to your data protection authority, and Reppl honors them.
How long Reppl keeps things
- An exchange request waits 30 days, and an introduction 14 days, before it expires.
- A message stays while either of you keeps it. Once neither of you can read it and nothing is waiting to be delivered, it is removed within 24 hours.
- Unsending deletes a message’s text, earlier versions and photos at once. Only a note that it was unsent remains, for as long as either of you keeps the conversation.
- A report’s reason, details, outcome and account facts are kept for 12 months from when it was made. Its screenshots are kept for 90 days, or up to 180 days if an unresolved case needs one recorded extension.
- Backup copies of deleted messages and reports are gone within 30 days.
- Your account, your Card and what you put into Reppl are kept for as long as your account exists.
- When you delete your account, it is removed from Reppl’s live database and file storage within 30 days, and from every backup, automatic or made by hand, within 90 days, apart from what stays with other people as described above.
- Server logs, which record requests rather than what you write, are kept for no longer than 90 days, and usually far less.
- A designer waitlist entry is kept until you ask to leave the list or Reppl stops running it.
Children
Reppl is not for children. You must be at least 16 to use it. If Reppl learns that someone under 16 has an account, it deletes the account.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with its date, and you will be told in the App before a significant change takes effect.
